Paper Submission and Publications
Original papers must be submitted in PDF format via the EasyChair Conference Management System, here.
The material submitted for presentation at the workshop must be original, not published or being considered elsewhere. The working language is English. Papers are limited to 12 pages formatted for the Springer book series “Studies in Computational Intelligence” according to the instructions at http://www.springer.com/series/7092. Papers may be submitted in Word or Latex format; the Springer templates can be downloaded at:
All papers accepted for presentation will be included in an electronic Preprints volume and distributed to the participants at the conference time. All papers duly presented at the Workshop will be included in the SOHOMA’18 post conference Proceedings, ISI and DBLP Computer Science database indexed, published in the Springer series “Studies in Computational Intelligence”. Selected, extended papers will be proposed for publication in a special issue of one journal representative for the workshop’s domain (Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, International Journal of Production Research, Computers in Industry, International Journal of CIM). The selection will be based upon the quality of the papers edited in the Springer proceedings, the quality of the oral presentations and the novelty, original contributions and technical soundness of the work. These extended papers will be blind-reviewed, which does not mean their automatic acceptance.
SOHOMA’18 Special Sessions
Scientists are invited to propose “Special Sessions” on subjects from actual SOHOMA’18 research lines. A Special Session is proposed and organized by 3 or 4 scientists, and will include 4-6 papers submitted by members of professional groups, scientific communities and project teams with similar R&D interests. Special Sessions Proposals can be submitted by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org using the Special Sessions Proposal Template.
Participants can submit papers for the Special Sessions listed below. Authors interested in submitting their paper(s) for a Special Session should normally upload the manuscript(s) via Easy Chair and write us an email (email@example.com) indicating the Special Sessions of interest.
